Frequently Asked Questions
Our Oil
What is black seed oil?
Black seed oil is pressed from the seeds of Nigella sativa, a flowering plant also known as black cumin. It has a rich, peppery, slightly bitter flavour and has been part of traditional kitchens for generations.
What does “cold-pressed” mean?
Our seeds are pressed slowly at low temperatures, without added heat or chemical solvents. This keeps the oil's natural aroma, colour and character intact.
Is anything added to the oil?
No. Our oil is 100% black seed oil — no carrier oils, fillers, preservatives or flavourings.
How do I enjoy it?
Many people take a spoonful on its own or stirred into honey, or use it as a finishing drizzle over salads, bread, yoghurt and dips. Its flavour is bold, so start small. See our journal for ideas.
How should I store it?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Our amber glass helps protect the oil from light.
Can I take it if I'm pregnant, nursing or on medication?
Our oil is a food product and not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a health condition, please check with your doctor before adding it to your routine.
